Alikanas
Fairly small resort with very friendly atmosphere. Nearby are neighbouring villages which are very Greek and give a good insight into the local way of life.
Taxis have to be called from Zakynthos and will charge a call-out fee although are sometimes found on the main street. A bus service runs to Zakynthos.
Location: At the centre of the island's N coast, 12 mls NW of Zakynthos and 17 mls NW of the airport.
Position: ½ ml from Alikes which is last in a string of resorts on the N coast, farthest from Zakynthos.
