Large modern all-inclusive option having undergone a complete renovation in 2008 from the former Victoria Hotel. It has a good range of bright and airy facilities, thankfully well shielded from the noise and traffic from the busy main road outside. The grounds seem a little on the small side for the number of rooms, so it may get quite crowded at times. Unusual in this resort, it offers a spa with indoor pool. The good range of high standard facilities and location should suit a wide range of guests looking for ultimate resort and beach convenience. There is plenty to keep children occupied here both in the hotel and along the main strip. It is in a handy location to take a boat trip from the beach to visit the turtles in the Marine Park. For those interested in shopping and an authentic Greek flavour, Zakynthos Town is the best bet.

Interior

The extensive open-plan central interior has facilities linked via sliding glass doors. A large buffet restaurant and multi-sided bar look out directly to the pool. Covered wicker-effect seating is at the poolside.

An enclosed pool terrace has a spanning metal bridge with accommodation on three sides and greenery on the other. Rows of tightly packed sunbeds are on one side of the pool. A rock water feature is in one corner with pretty well tended vegetation.

Area Type: Just set back off the main commercial strip in the centre of the resort. Many shops, bars, clubs and eateries are along both sides of the road in either direction. Taxis are easily available outside on the road and a bus stop is 25 yds away. Local buses and taxis (also called from reception) can be obtained for the short cheap journey to Zakynthos Town or to the surrounding local area including neighbouring Kalamaki.
